The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland is a unitary parliamentary constitutional monarchy located off the north-western coast of continental Europe. Formerly the largest empire in history and once claiming dominion over Canada and the Thirteen Colonies that would become the United States of America, the U.K. has for many decades been the closest partner and ally of the United States. A permanent member of the United Nations, the U.K. was one of the strongest supporters of U.S.-led interventions in the Middle East throughout the 21st century. In 2016, Britain voted to leave the European Union in the controversial Brexit vote.

Homefront TimelineEdit

In 2025, sometime during the Korean invasion of the United States in 2025, according to the English Broadcast Network's Brandon Sawyer reporting via satellite phone from the U.S./Canada border near Vancouver, some elements of the United States Army attempt to resist the overwhelming onslaught of Korea on America's west coast, but eventually cross the border into Canada in "apparent retreat", whilst Canada rushes more troops to its border. "His Majesty" urges the British people to remain calm and pray for America, but given its own severe economic problems brought about by America's fall and the rise of a Korea historically hostile to the Western powers (further exacerbated by Russia and Ukraine cutting off all oil trade with the rest of Europe), Britain apparently is unable to do much more to assist, with the apparent dissolution of both the United Nations and NATO.

The Voice of Freedom network reports a rumor that the President of the United States has fled America and is hiding in England.[1] After two years of the Korean occupation, as a possible turning point in the brutal conflict, a British reporter announces that the European Union Defense Council has called an "emergency meeting" to debate support for America at long last.
