The Silencer is a weapon attachment featured in Homefront.
Single player[]
The Silencer is found equipped to the M200 in the level Homefront. It is also found in the school on an M16 with holographic scope.
Multiplayer[]
In multiplayer, it is unlocked at level 1. But the player must have 25 kills to unlock it to a specific weapon. The Silencer does not reduce the damage, or range that the damage drops off, making it a worthwhile attatchment if the player is willing to use the iron sights. When a silenced weapon is fired, the gun does not appear on the radar. It also reduces the sound of the gun firing.
