The Proximity Launcher is a dumbfire rocket launcher featured in Homefront. It uses a complex distance sensor to trigger its explosion when near a enemy vehicle.

Dumbfire rocket launcher that uses a sophisticated distance sensor to trigger detonation when in close proximity to an enemy vehicle.
Multiplayer[]
The Proximity Launcher is unlocked at level 31. It can be purchased for 250 BP. This is very useful against helicopters since it explodes near the helicopter increasing the damage and hit percent while an RPG has to make contact. It does not explode when it passes near objects on the map.
