Nguyen Huu Giap was a Vietnamese resistance fighter who came to the United States to assist the American Resistance against the Korean occupation.
History[]
Nguyen was the grand-nephew of the renowned Vietnam People's Army general, Vo Nguyen Giap. Like his grand-uncle, Nguyen was an expert in guerilla tactics. After Vietnam joined the Greater Korean Republic, Nguyen joined the Vietnamese resistance against the Koreans.
After the KPA invaded the United States, Nguyen was among the Vietnamese resistance fighters who volunteered to help the American resistance movement. Nguyen and his resistance teamed up with a mixed outfit of U.S. Army, Marines, and National Guardsmen stationed in a resistance cell, called the Dome, in Bryce Canyon. Their hideout soon became compromised by the Koreans and Nguyen's resistance traveled to Montrose, Colorado, where they teamed up with Boone Karlson's resistance cell.
Nguyen later led a team to confront a large Korean contingent at the intersection of Highways 50 and 550. Unfortunately, the contingent was larger than he had expected which led to Nguyen's death along with two other resistance fighters.
