New York is the 11th state of the United States of America. In the winter of 2016, New York, along with Minnesota and Delaware, suffered 10,000 casualties from hypothermia and other cold related illnesses. One of the "National Heating Centers" was set up in New York City, in Madison Square Garden.[1] In July 2017, due to inconsistent food supplies, residents of Rochester, New York started rooftop gardens, for fruit and vegetable supplies.[2] In October 2017, the current President declared martial law, deploying troops to New York City, among other cities.[3]
