The Republic of the Union of Myanmar, also known by its historical colonial name "Burma", was an southeast Asian nation bordered by Thailand, China and India.
Homefront timeline[]
In 1983, North Korean agents attempted to assassinate Chun Doo-hwan, the President of South Korea, while on a state visit to Rangoon. Although President Chun survived the attack, 21 people were killed, including 14 Korean presidential advisers, journalists, and security officials were killed; four Burmese nationals, including three journalists, were also among the dead. Salmusa's father was apparently involved in this state-sponsored terrorist attack.[1]
Myanmar either voluntarily joined or was forcibly annexed by the Greater Korean Republic sometime in 2021.
