Mack McConley was the sheriff of Las Vegas.

During the Korean invasion, McConley was able to keep law and order in Las Vegas. He later welcomed the arrival of a California National Guard unit from Los Angeles, and briefed them on recent news.
When the Koreans began bombing Las Vegas, McConley helped evacuating civilians despite being badly burnt from the bombing. Ben Walker urged him to save himself, but McConley refused as it was his duty to look after the city's people. He told Walker and Kelsie Wilcox to look out for each other.
