The Limpet Mine Launcher is a weapon featured in Homefront: The Revolution. It is converted from the Assault Rifle and uses magnetic mines as ammunition.
The launcher fires magnetic mines in an arc, using a projectile rather than a hitscan. This requires users to aim above their targets when firing from medium to long distances. The mines detonate shortly after impact and apply small diameter splash damage in addition to the direct damage to the intended target. The Limpet Mine Launcher is capable of one-shot kills against all KPA units aside from Goliaths.
