The KPA hostages are KPA soldiers who are held captive by survivalists in Homefront.
History[]
The Utah survivalists had captured several KPA soldiers and held them in their settlement. Some were used as outright slaves such as to manually power a wind generator or tortured for their captors' amusement. Many were executed and their bodies were put on display.
Survivalists Francis and Johnny cruelly toyed a KPA prisoner by shooting their guns at his feet to make him "dance" while he desperately begged for mercy. The prisoner is eventually executed by Johnny much to Francis's protests.
A KPA soldier is forced to literally dig his own grave while his captors debated on whether they should kill him or bury him alive. The prisoner then stopped digging and defiantly insulted his captors before he is gunned down.
