The Inferno Launcher is a weapon featured in Homefront: The Revolution. It is converted from the Pump Action Shotgun. It is a 25-milimeter incendiary device launcher that launches 25mm incendiary shells containing ignitable incendiary slugs (made from napalm or just plain gasoline).
The slugs travel relatively slowly in a short, arcing trajectory. Using this gun effectively requires the ability to lead a target and estimate range to determine what angle the gun should be fired at. This gun has devastating effects on most infantry, but does nothing to armor. This cannot ignite the battery packs of Wolverine drones and armored cars, and KPA infantry in hazmat suits are completely immune to fire.
