The bolt cutter is a tool featured in Homefront: The Revolution.
Gameplay[]
The player gets the bolt cutter at the beginning of the game in order to access the KPA transceiver in Greentree Yellow Zone. It can be used to open panels to access KPA strongholds as well as break locks to boxes, doors, and Resistance stashes. In yellow zones, the cutter can be used to disable KPA generators and loudspeakers, contributing to the Hearts And Minds meter.

Trivia[]
- In yellow zones when there is a KPA unit nearby a generator after the player used the bolt cutters, the unit will be alerted by the noise and will investigate the area for the player. They will communicate using radio channels to assess the damage done, afterwards they will continue searching for the player.
